David Stein helps you understand what to expect. 


David Stein, Owner,

has a degree in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. His love for Interior Design goes back to his childhood where his Antique dealer Aunt, as well as his parents Interior Designer were highly influential. His career in the industry began at JL Goodman furniture in Cleveland where he worked as a store manager, buyer and merchandiser. Always knowing that someday he wanted his own store, David continued his career path at a high-end design showroom. He has designed homes all over the U.S. as well as Italy. Opening Plantation home in 2002 was a dream come true. Plantation Home became Avenue Home in 2020 allowing for a new direction for the beloved furnishings/Design store.


Scott Hannah, Manager,

 is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in Art History and Business. Scott first became interested in Interior Design early in life. His love of classic architecture, fine art and history made for a seamless transition into Interior Design. Scott believes and understands the importance of a client’s home reflecting their personality and strives to create a unique and thoughtful design for his clients. He joined the Avenue Home team in 2003 not only is he a lead designer, he is also the store manager.

Lauren Mueller

is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati as well as Virginia Marti College of Art and Design. Lauren’s lifelong interest in architecture led her into the field of Interior Design. One of her favorite aspects of Design is the personal connection with clients. Lauren believes that discovering a client’s style is one of the most important factors when creating their living spaces. Lauren has been a lead designer at Avenue Home since 2010.

Megan Allen

 is a graduate of Miami University with a degree in Marketing. Megan made Chicago her home for sixteen years. After moving to Cleveland she sought out a home to showcase her natural talents and love of Interior Design. It was serendipity that she landed at Avenue Home. Being a “people person” Megan thrives on working with customers and guiding them through the design process and is a natural when it comes to fine interiors.
